This year, music’s biggest night will be held on Sunday, February 12th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This year will be the 59th annual Grammy Awards, which is a night that celebrates the best artists, compositions, and records of the previous year. For the 59th annual Grammy Awards, nominations for best Album of the Year include 25 by Adele, Views by Drake, Lemonade by Beyonce, Purpose by Justin Bieber, and A Sailor’s Guide to Earth by Sturgill Simpson. Nominations for Song of the Year include “7 years” performed by Lukas Graham, “Love Yourself” performed by Justin Bieber, “I took a Pill in Ibiza” performed by Mike Posner, “Hello” performed by Adele, and “Formation” performed by Beyonce. Nominations for Record of the Year include “Stressed Out” performed by Twenty One Pilots, “Work” performed by Rihanna ft. Drake, “7 years” performed by Lukas Graham, “Formation”, performed by Beyonce and “Hello” performed by Adele.

At the Grammy Museum, guests can explore the various exhibits and learn more about the history and social and cultural significance of American music. Some of the current exhibits include learning about the Legends of Motown, The Ramones and the birth of Punk, Count Base: the King of Swing and Rhymes & Reasons: The Music of John Denver among other exhibits. The Grammy Museum is located at 800 W. Olympic Blvd. in Los Angeles. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10:30am – 6:30pm and is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-6:30pm.
