Once you’re done with your Downtown LA shopping, consider heading to the beach such as Venice. From the famous boardwalk to the beautiful beach, there’s a lot that Venice has to offer. - Venice Canals Did you ever think you could walk through European canals without ever having to leave Los Angeles? Be sure to visit the iconic venice canals which were created in 1905 in order to bring a taste of Venice, Italy to America. Today, it’s a great area to go on a leisurely stroll and check out the beautiful homes that line the canals.
- Venice Beach The beach at Venice includes a three mile stretch of sand that provides plenty o f opportunity to lay out a towel and work on your tan or throw around a frisbee for some catch. Don’t forget to take a walk to the pier as well.
- Venice Boardwalk The boardwalk in Venice is the traditional location to enjoy a little bit of weirdness. Along the boardwalk you’ll get your fill of street performers, artists selling handcrafted items and more. The location also has a number of shops and medical marijuana dispensaries. Also at the Boardwalk is the iconic muscle beach where Arnold Schwarzenegger would work out in his body building days as well as the skate park.
